Berlin is one of my favourites cities so it's rather difficult to say negative things about it. The transport system is amazing, either you choose a bike, the S- or U-Bahn or some other option. Different neighbourhoods bring novelties every time and there seems to be a park just around every corner where you can run, play some sports, go for a drink, read and relax. Also, of course, the amount of historical and cultural choice is just crazy. Tons of interesting museums and landmarks. And all in a very unpretentious and relaxed environment.

Berlin has loads to offer visitors. While we enjoyed seeing the “sites” our favorite place to visit was the German Technology Museum. We spent most of a day there and still had more to see. We enjoyed a quick lunch at the museum and carried on. We had to leave because we were exhausted, even though we were not able to visit every department! Getting around in Berlin was very simple as the public transport system is fantastic.

It was not my first time visiting the city. The 1st time was almost 20 years ago. At that time, the difference between west and east Berlin was still evident. Now everything is different.
