The stay in Ibrahim’s house boat was an experience we will never forget. From the beginning on it was very convenient to stay in contact with Ibrahim and plan every step of our journey. Once we arrived we took a little boat to the floating house and were blessed with a stunning view of the Dal lake and the mountains in the background. Ibrahim and his family welcomed us very friendly. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Boat trips, money exchange, included breakfast or home cooked dinner in kashmiri style, everything was taken care of. In the evening Ibrahim told us the history of Kashmir and its people. An arranged boat took us to floating markets giving us the opportunity to see and purchase amazing handmade crafting. Ibrahims care was more than we could hope for. All in all it was a trip and experience we will never forget. Many thanks to Ibrahim and his family.

Just had an unforgettable stay on a houseboat in Kashmir! Nestled on the serene waters of Dal Lake, this floating retreat was an absolute gem. The intricately adorned interiors exuded timeless charm, while waking up to breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks was a dream come true. Dining under the starry sky with delicious Kashmiri cuisine made every evening magical. Above all, the warm hospitality of the hosts made our stay truly special.

The best stay and day in Kashmir ❤️ Ahhhaaa, what all to say? I was crazily amazed to be in a Pasadona Floating Houseboats.. As I have a million things to say about my stay but would like to highlight a few important points: 1) Interior wise 'WOW' means literally "WOW"...the royal dining area, my cozy and beautiful room with an amazing view, neat and clean with breathtaking décor the room take my heart away and I just never ever wanted to come back from that place 🥰 2) Service from Khursheed and assurance from the owner "Younis" was so commendable. They assure your stay is more than what you have ever imagined :) 3) Food was homemade, and delicious and they even arranged food as per the taste of my baby and didn't charge extra for that …OMG how can someone be so caring and sweet! Their Kashmiri dum aloo was my favorite dish 4) Younis ( Owner )came, called me in between if I need anything, and made sure that whenever whatever was required he just arranged it then and there... 5) Whenever we have to go anywhere The shikhara was just a call away and no doubt Younis Bhai was also just, a call away literally on his feet. They arranged a cab for us with a gentle and polite driver bhaiya for Pahalgam! 6) Dal lake is quite peaceful and feels a bit luxurious and staying in a Pasadona Houseboat is like the cherry on the top. 7) Take maximum pictures and still, you will feel that there is much to click on as the houseboat is just so so so so lovely and all picturesque. I was crazily clicking pictures and changing my outfits after every hour. Yes, their Wifi is also kamaaaall, ekdum faad chlta hai types ! you can manage your office work very easily there:💯 I have already left a part of my heart there and staying in The Pasadona Floating group of Houseboats is one of the reasons to visit Kashmir next time for sure! Trust me Mr Younis is the most amazing host I've come across to date!

Beautiful floating garden and hill view location. Food is exceptional (Sajadh the chef ), Shikara ride every day is wonderful experience ( Firoz the rider also wonderful singer). Owner ( Sheik ji) of boat house who is very caring and has very good connections to make the whole kashmir trip go very smooth. Central heated is one very good option and makes the stay most comfortable even in winter.

I had a wonderful stay at Tashkand houseboat during winter season in January 2023. Musa, the houseboat owner, is very helpful and provide very good service. Dinner at Tashkand was our best dining in Kashmir as it's fresh meat, homemade, and no MSG. If you stay here I recommend trying 1 dining at his place. The place is clean and tidy. There's towels and amenities provided. There s no heater in the bedroom but it's replaced with warmed electric blanket which works very well to keep you warm at night, especially in winter. There are free shikara ride across to main road if you paid for shikara ride trip the first or second day. It's a special deal that the houseboat made with shikara riders so you will get the best deal and save money if you get shikara trip. It was the memorable, affordable house boat price. The houseboat is located in a quiet park of the lake overlooking the lotus ponds. It's spectacularly beautiful and hidden from the Lakeshore which is a madhouse. Boat rides to and from the houseboat are free. Host Tariq is well versed in dealing with foreign guests and is very helpful with arranging stuff. I understand he does excursions beyond srinagar and treks as well but unf there was no time for that. Location wise, I observed that up to about ghat 10 the houseboats are super near the Lakeshore. So, depending on whether you want convenience or privacy you can plan accordingly.
